At Ruma Institute of Medical Sciences, we are firmly committed to providing a safe, secure, and respectful learning environment. Ragging in any form is strictly prohibited on campus as well as in hostels. The institute follows a zero-tolerance policy towards ragging, in line with the guidelines laid down by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and other regulatory bodies.
The Anti-Ragging Cell has been established to prevent, monitor, and address any incidents of ragging. We aim to foster a culture of mutual respect, dignity, and brotherhood among students. Regular awareness programs, counseling sessions, and interactive workshops are conducted to educate students about the harmful effects and serious consequences of ragging.
Any student found involved in ragging will face strict disciplinary action, including suspension, expulsion, or legal proceedings as per law. Students and parents are encouraged to promptly report any such incidents without fear of retaliation. The identity of the complainant will be kept strictly confidential.
